A large library takes a while, and screenshots stored in iCloud are read
last because each one has to be fetched first. Leave Caduca open and it will
keep going; it also continues for a short period after you leave the app,
and picks the rest up in the background later.
Something is in the wrong category
Open it and tap Re-tag. A category you set by hand is never overridden,
even when the sorting rules are updated.
What does “ready to clear” mean?
Caduca gives some screenshots a shelf life — a verification code lasts a
day, a barcode a week, a booking until the day after the event. When that
passes, it appears in the digest for you to confirm. Nothing is ever deleted
automatically, and Wi-Fi passwords never expire.
Where did my deleted screenshots go?
To Recently Deleted in Photos, where iOS keeps them for thirty days. Every
deletion in Caduca goes through the system's own confirmation dialogue.
Can I get my screenshots out?
Yes. Open any category and choose Export PDF. Every page carries the text
found in that screenshot, so the document is searchable wherever you keep
it.
